I am not exempt from this

Who will my life touch?

Who will I bless in this walk?

I don’t wonder if

I wonder how

I know my Daddy heals my diseases

What will that healing look like?

What will it feel like?

I don’t wonder when

I wonder how long

I know this will end one day

How long will it really last?

How much of my life will it try to steal?

I wonder. . .

Will I break? or

Will I stand strong?

Will I make it? or

Will I be victorious?

Will I conquer my mind? or

Will I be a slave to it?

Will I survive? or

Will I shine?

I want to stand strong

I long to be victorious

I strive to conquer my mind

I pray to shine
